According to Alex Ovechkin everything was right regarding him being benched in the game 4 against Boston of the NFL series. He was benched by the coach Dale Hunter for near about 15 seconds in the last 14 minutes of the play in which Washington won over Boston by 2-1.

“According to me the time I am in the ground does not matter. But this is also true that I always wanted to be in the playground all the time. But at the end of the day it’s the decision of the coach” said Alex.

The other players of the team denied the fact. They said that they did not even see Alex Ovechkin on the playground for more than 1.58 minutes at a stretch on the third session of the NFL playoff.

According to Troy Brouwer, the absence of Alex in one game does not means that he is not a part of the team. Pittsburgh Steelers must be raring to go and make a mark in the championship, but their hopes got a setback because of the injury factor of some of the key players. Maurkice Pouncey, the All-Pro center missed the crucial encounter with AFC Wild Card Game that was held on Sunday. It was always doubtful weather Pouncey would be able to play the game or not. His presence was questionable because of his left ankle injury that kept him out of action for the whole week. On Friday, it was officially revealed that he would not be available for the game against the Denver Broncos.
Just like the scenario of the last year, the replacement of Pouncey will be made by Doug Legursky. Last year, during the event of Super Bowl, Legursky was opted as the replacement.
