Ndamukong Suh, a popular name in NFL, has been under some controversy owing to his aggressive playing style. Fans and the press have found the  player stubborn, especially after his comments in a recent interview, where he said that he will not change his playing style. He explained that no two players in the NFL arena have the same strategies, and that each had their own style of playing. In spite of being flagged and fined on multiple occasions in just the first half of the ongoing season, the player has not talked about walking the fine line between aggressive playing tactics and penalties. The Detroit star however had a positive meeting with the NFL Commissioner recently in New York. Both of them told the press that the meeting was productive.

With a heavy physique and a commendable height of 6-foot-4, Suh is known for an aggressive presence on the field. Out of the four occasions when he was fined on penalties, one of them involved him masking an opponent player. On another occasion, he was also found on unsportsmanlike behavior. However, Detroit fans find him a useful player, and his contribution speaks for itself. His playing style has always been the same, and after his Nebraska stint, he found himself ranked second. Most of his fines came by after that, and they accumulated to more than $42,000. Although his heavy movements seem easily executed, many feel that he might unknowingly cross the line too often.

However, Suh seemed to be grateful about the opportunity he got to speak with the NFL Commissioner. He may have got a fair chance to explain why things were going against him a little too often. Weighing more than 300 pounds, the player can be intimidating for most of his opponents during his runs. While most of the opponent players have a lot to complain against Suh’s playing style, many of them recognize his mobility to be naturally aggressive. Whether or not that makes him a better player, the rules of the game and referees will always have the final word. Suh has played last against Denver in week 8 of the NFL season this year.
